MCL Detachment 630 is a 501(c)(4) tax exempt service organization (donations are not tax deductible) financially supporting Veteran, Youth and Scholarship programs in Carson City, Storey, Lyon and Douglas Counties.
MCL Detachment 630 assists high school students who are looking to further their education by going to a four year college or university through fundraising. The funds raised go toward academic scholarships for those students who cannot afford tuition.
Not only does MCL 630 assist in obtaining scholarships, it also assist the high schools in supporting the NJROTC and JROTC programs.
MCL Detachment 630 supports and donates to organizations like Children's Miracle Network and local veterans in need of financial assistance and or direction in how to obtain services.
